After years of making gorgeous low whistles under the Overton name (and following Bernard Overton's design), Colin Goldie has now switched to marking the instruments he makes with his own name.
I've got a low D Overton / Goldie, and it is the absolute bees knees - I've played lots of low whistles, owned a few, and nothing comes close to the quality, tone, expressiveness and feel of an Overton/Goldie.
Colin's website is at http://www.colingoldie.de and is well worth a look. Bernard Overton was a true pioneer, but it is now only right that these excellent, top-quality musical instruments should be sold under their maker's own name.
